Emerald Bay Custom Houseboats has been in operation since 1994. We have a 100,000 sq ft facility located in beautiful Oroville, California, just north of Sacramento. Emerald Bay offers a full range of remodeling options and is also the only builder of fully custom built houseboats on the west coast. We specialize in all aluminum super-structure houseboats that are designed and built to be virtually maintenance free.

All Emerald Bay Custom Houseboats include a warranty that will cover any structural or mechanical defects. Our warranties are supported by the materials we use in construction. Emerald Bay Houseboats are 5052-T6 aluminum alloy super structures; this means all flotation, structure framing, railing, and tanks (except fuel) are built out of aluminum. This construction method prevents the most common and expensive house boat maintenance issues including but not limited to rust, wood rot, and cracking fiberglass

Each Houseboat is designed to provide both durability and function without sacrificing the unique necessities and wishes that each customer desires. Emerald Bay Houseboats are designed with SolidWorks 3D CAD Software. SolidWorks design software allows us to have continuous communication with our customers via email or fax. Floor plans, structure designs, cabinet layouts, and custom accessories are designed and approved with the customer before the build process takes place.
